Zombie Sweeper is a game made by an independent developer (contact below). This page explains what data the game uses. In short: no accounts and no analytics. The only ads are optional video ads you choose to watch.
Your progress, settings and high scores are saved only on your own device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the game deletes them.
When you use online co-op, the friends list or invitations, the game connects to our small relay server that passes game messages between players. For this the server handles:
The player ID, name, friend code and friends list are kept on the server so your friends list works next time. IP addresses are only used while you are connected and may appear in short technical server logs that are not shared and are regularly deleted. We do not sell or share any of this data with anyone, and it is not used for advertising.
Playing alone or co-op on the same Wi-Fi does not use the relay server.
The game shows only rewarded video ads that you choose to watch: to start another game after the free game of the day, or for a Self-Revive. They come from Google AdMob. When an ad is loaded, Google receives data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address and general device information, to show the ad, measure it and prevent fraud. In the EU/UK the game first asks for your consent with Google's consent form; without consent you get non-personalised ads. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or turn off your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Email us with your friend code (shown in the game's Friends screen) and we delete your online entry. Deleting the game removes everything stored on your device.
The game contains intense violence and is not meant for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
